Surface Art's Commitment to Sustainable Products and Policies
Making a commitment to the environment means more than just recycling. It's a bottom-up approach that affects not only internal company policies but also those of our vendors. Surface Art asks all vendors to sign a statement of Environmental Commitment which explains how their factories or manufacturing processes address materials recycling, energy consumption, and waste mitigation.

Today's Luxury Vinyl: Recyclable & Renewable
Every vinyl tile and plank sold by Surface Art is 100% recyclable post-use.
In addition, nearly every product in our Earthwerks Luxury Vinyl line is made from at least 20 to 50% post consumer recycled material, and is completely recyclable. Even more important, every Earthwerks Luxury Vinyl product is manufactured in modern, energy efficient facilities that are certified to be ISO 9001-200 and ISO 14001:2004 compliant.

The Earthwerks G4L Mark
While all of our products are recyclable, products shown with the G4L mark are produced using a minimum of 20% to 50% post-consumer recycled material.When it’s time to remove the old floor we can help you Reclaim, Recycle and Reuse by assisting you in connecting to sources for recycling or reinstallation in worthwhile projects in your area. You’ll help the environment and receive valuable goodwill as a responsible community partner.
